| Hista Internacional is a Latin American holding dedicated
to the distribution of IBM - Rational Software Corporation,
Aldon, Original Software Group and Roha development
tools to provide Development and Quality assurance services with the
aid of those tools and methodologies. Hista Internacional was founded in Argentina in the mid 90s. Nowadays it has representants that distribute those products and provides services in Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. It`s main objective is to contribute with the software development improvement process, in particular for companies where information systems are an essential part of their operations Our most relevant projects in this particular market included the testing and Quality y2k certifications of the Argentina’s most important banks’ systems like Banco de la Nación Argentina, Banco Río (member of Santander group), Banco Francés (member of the BBV group), Banco Bansud, Banco Credicoop C.L. and Banco Ciudad de Buenos Aires. In the Latin American market, the projects with more importance took place in: BPS, COFAC, and Banco Comercial in Uruguay, Banco de Venezuela and Banco Mercantil in Venezuela, Banco Internacional and Banco Edwards in Chile, Banco Popular in Dominican Republic, Banco Gubernamental de Fomento in Puerto Rico. Furthemore, Hista Internacional has done over 100 important projects in developing and quality assurance so far, consolidating its experience in the administration and successful execution of significant projects, valued between USD 500.000 and USD 5.000.000 with 20 to 60 full time employed professionals. Note that Hista Internacional received the “International Rocky partner of the Year” distinction in the 1998th Users Conference in Boston, for being the Rational most important partner that year. Hista Internacional has trained a large group of professionals to collaborate with its clients in the implementation of Rational Unified Process and the use of all IBM - Rational tools, providing training, support and mentoring. The group contains a staff of professionals specialized in every tool distributed by the company, providing support both in the local and Latin America area. |
